Visit markets while we learn the islanders life. Lesson on identifying quality handcrafts and bargaining the price. Dinner. Free time. -Day 4: Morning: Learning weaving techinique from the dreamweaver's of the Tiboli tribe. Afternoon: Lesson on creating a compelling frame from an everyday object. Sunset on the Wall, then drinks on the rooftop -Day 3-5: Travel to the cultural center in Manila where we will learn, the traditional Folk Dances such as: Tinkling and Subli -Day 4: Continuation of learning the dances of Day 3 -Day 5: Performance of Folk Dances at the Cultural center -Day 6: Music discussion and lectures followed by a shopping trip. -Day 7: Travel South. Learn the dances of Filipino tribes. -Day 8: Meet professional fusion dance artist Jorge Amparnada and learn how to combine traditional Filipino dances with modern movements and expression. -Day 9: Beach Trip/ Feast -Day 10: Fly Out |
